TeamDrive 4 is an update to TeamDrive 3, which means both client versions are compatible with one another. Installing TeamDrive 4 will overwrite your TeamDrive 3 installation. With that said, to update from TeamDrive 3 to TeamDrive 4 you simply need to quit TeamDrive, install TeamDrive 4 over your existing TeamDrive 3 installation and continue working. You will still be logged in and your Spaces will continue to sync.
DO NOT uninstall TeamDrive 3 before installing TeamDrive 4. If you do so, all connections to your Spaces on your local machine will be lost and you will have to rejoin all of your Spaces (this would also be the case if you uninstalled an older version of TeamDrive 3 to update to a newer version of TeamDrive 3.)
The Personal client license will be converted to a Professional client license. If you have a Personal license, please notify us so we can upgrade your Personal license to a Professional license. For all future license purchases the new pricing will apply.
In any an all cases, when updating your TeamDrive client it is not necessary nor recommended to uninstall your existing TeamDrive installation.
